Job Title: Sales, Marketing, and Outreach (SMO) Officer

What You’ll Do
Drive Brand Awareness: Develop and implement marketing campaigns to position DigGeoNaija as a leader in digital geotourism and geoheritage innovation.
Build Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with local and international businesses, academic institutions, and community organizations to form mutually beneficial alliances.
Secure Sponsorships: Identify and pitch sponsorship opportunities to companies and stakeholders who align with our vision of transforming Nigeria’s geoheritage.
Close Deals: Lead negotiations to finalize contracts for partnerships, sponsorships, and product sales, ensuring alignment with DigGeoNaija’s goals.
Sell Products and Services: Promote DigGeoNaija’s GIS platforms, virtual tours, educational materials, 3D models, and other offerings to potential buyers, including universities, workshops, and event organizers.
Identify Revenue Opportunities: Explore new markets and revenue streams to expand DigGeoNaija’s impact and profitability.
What We Need
Bachelor's Degree with 1 year experience.
Expertise in Marketing Strategies: Experience in creating and executing marketing strategies tailored for tourism or tech-related industries, with a focus on driving visibility and engagement.
Proven Track Record in Partnership Development: Ability to establish and nurture partnerships with businesses, organizations, and stakeholders to enhance brand reach and impact.
Sponsorship Acquisition Experience: Demonstrated success in identifying, approaching, and securing sponsorships from organizations aligned with DigGeoNaija’s mission.
Sales Expertise: Strong skills in sales strategy development and execution to promote and sell DigGeoNaija’s products and services.
Creative and Results-Driven Mindset: Innovative thinking and a focus on achieving measurable outcomes in all responsibilities.
Preferred Skills and Attributes:
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Knowledge of digital and immersive technologies in tourism
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience in the Nigerian tourism or tech sectors is a plus.
Salary
N70,000 monthly.
