Job Description

As a Presenter at Pulse Nigeria, you will be the face and voice of our digital media content. 

You will be responsible for presenting live and pre-recorded shows, conducting interviews, and delivering content across various platforms, including online video, social media, and live events. 

Your role is to engage, inform, and entertain our audience, ensuring a high standard of presentation and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Content Presentation:

Host and present live and pre-recorded shows, including news, entertainment, lifestyle, and special features.

Conduct engaging interviews with guests, including celebrities, industry experts, and other newsmakers.

Provide commentary and analysis on various topics relevant to the audience.

Content Creation:

Collaborate with the content production team to develop and produce high-quality content.

Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate ideas for new shows, segments, and features.

Audience Engagement:

Interact with the audience through social media platforms, responding to comments and questions in a professional manner.

Engage with viewers during live shows, incorporating their feedback and comments into the content.

Research and Preparation:

Conduct thorough research on topics, guests, and current events to provide accurate and insightful content.

Prepare detailed notes and questions for interviews and discussions.

Professional Development:

Stay updated with industry trends, current events, and best practices in digital media and broadcasting.

Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance presenting skills and technical knowledge.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field.

2 - 3 years proven experience as a presenter, host, or similar role in the media industry.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as required

Strong on-camera presence and ability to engage with diverse audiences.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle live broadcasts professionally.

Proficiency in using social media platforms for content promotion and audience engagement.

Strong research and organisational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
