Job Position: Logistics Officer

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Logistics Officer to oversee and manage the smooth delivery of our products within Lagos.

The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the state’s geography, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively with delivery agents. Candidates should possess relevant work experience in Logistics, e-commerce fufilment and last mile deliveries.

They must also have good driving skills and valid Driver's license.

Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate product deliveries to various locations within Lagos.

Develop and implement efficient delivery routes to optimize time, cost and other resources.

Work closely with dispatch rides and delivery agents, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.

Monitor and track the status of deliveries, addressing any issues that arise promptly.

Ensure all deliveries are completed within the scheduled timeframe and to the required standards.

Maintain accurate records of delivery schedules, routes, and completed deliveries.

Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on delivery status and address any concerns.

Requirements

HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Proven experience in a logistics role within the e-commerce or Engineering sector.

In-depth knowledge of Lagos State geography and diverse areas.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Very good driving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work effectively with delivery agents and other team members.

Proficiency in using logistics software and tools for planning and tracking deliveries.

Problem-solving skills and the ability to address issues promptly and effectively.

Salary

N100,000 - N130,000 monthly.
