Customer Service Representative
Department: Customer Support
Reports to: Unit Head, Customer Support
Location: Branch Office / Warehouse (Osolo Way) Lagos State.

Job Objective:
To serve as the first point of contact for customers, providing accurate information, resolving inquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction across all communication channels at CargoExtra Global Logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Frontline Client Support
• Handle inbound calls, messages, emails, and walk-in inquiries from customers regarding shipments, pricing, delivery timelines, and service offerings.
• Provide accurate information, address concerns, and escalate unresolved issues promptly.
• Follow up with clients to ensure complaints are resolved and services were delivered as expected.
2. Documentation & Record Keeping
• Maintain clear, up-to-date customer records and service logs using CRM or support software.
• Document client feedback, recurring issues, and service failures for review and improvement.
3. Shipment Monitoring & Coordination
• Track and provide real-time updates on customer cargo, delivery statuses, and expected arrival times.
• Coordinate with warehouse, export, and logistics teams to ensure updates given to customers are accurate and timely.
4. Service Quality & Customer Satisfaction
• Maintain a friendly, courteous, and professional tone in all customer interactions.
• Uphold the CargoExtra service promise and values in daily engagement.
• Participate in service quality checks and surveys to improve support delivery.
Qualifications:
• OND or Bachelor's degree.
• 1–2 years in customer service.
• Excellent communication and empathy skills.
