Job Position: Cook

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook meals according to the menu, recipes, and guest preferences.

Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen at all times.

Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the relevant personnel.

Adhere to portion control standards and minimize food wastage.

Assist in the creation of new menu items and contribute to menu planning.

Follow all safety and sanitation policies during food preparation.

Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal service.

Qualifications

A minimum of First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC).

Proven experience as a Cook in a hotel, restaurant, or similar setting.

Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety standards.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Creativity and a passion for culinary arts.

Team player with excellent communication skills.

Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
