Job Title: Chef

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to company standards.
• Create new and innovative menu items that reflect the restaurant’s style andvision.
• Supervise kitchen staff and ensure all food preparation meets high standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a safe and hygienic manner, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Monitor food quality and presentation, making adjustments as necessary.
• Manage food inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
• Collaborate with the management team to maintain a cost-effective kitchen operation.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff and chefs-in-training.
• Handle special dietary requests and accommodations with professionalism.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef.
• Culinary school diploma.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Ability to manage a kitchen team in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative culinary skills with attention to detail in presentation and flavor.
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Experience in cost control and kitchen management.
• Knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques.

Salary
N150,000 - N250,000 monthly.
