Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team on a full-time basis.

The Cashier will be responsible for processing transactions, managing payments, and providing exceptional customer service.

This role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a positive outcome.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Transactions: Accurately process Petty cash, handle cash, and operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently.

Payment Handling: Manage various payment methods including cash, credit/debit cards, and ensure the proper handling of receipts and change.

Balancing Cash Register: Maintain and balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift, and report any discrepancies.

Record-Keeping: Ensure all transaction records and receipts are filed and maintained accurately.

Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the checkout area clean, and organized at all times.

Qualifications

Ordinary Diploma or National Diploma (ND) in Accounting or a related field

3 years cogent experience as a cashier.

Basic math skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in operating point-of-sale (POS) systems is an advantage.

Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.

Good time management and multitasking abilities.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage a busy environment.
