Job Summary

We are seeking for a skilled and visionary Baker/Chef who will take the helm of our baking operations.This isn't just a job; it's an opportunity to shape the future of Elliom Bakery.

You'll manage the entire baking process, ensuring every product meets our high standards of quality and taste.

With our eyes set on broadening our offerings, your creativity and expertise will be crucial as we venture into new culinary territories.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee Daily Baking Operations: Lead the preparation of bread from mixing ingredients to baking, ensuring consistency and excellence in every batch.

Quality Assurance: Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and food safety, ensuring compliance with all health regulations.

Innovate and Develop New Products: Collaborate on creating new recipes and products, especially as we plan to introduce pastries and other baked goods.

Inventory Management: Monitor ingredients and supplies, manage orders, and minimize waste through efficient stock control.

Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and supervise baking staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment.

Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all baking equipment is well-maintained and operational, arranging repairs and replacements as needed.

Customer Engagement: Gather feedback directly from customers to refine and enhance our products.

Qualifications

Education: Minimum of SSCE (Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination).

Experience: Proven experience as a Baker or Chef, preferably in a professional bakery setting.

Location: On site- Benin City compulsory

Skills and Abilities:

Mastery of bread-baking techniques; experience with pastries is an added advantage.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.

Creative flair with a keen eye for detail.

Solid understanding of food safety practices and regulations.

Personal Attributes:
