Job Position: Sonographer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and professional Sonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, providing high-quality images for interpretation by our radiologists.

This role involves direct patient interaction, ensuring patient safety, maintaining equipment, and accurate record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct ultrasound examinations on patients as prescribed by physicians.

Ensure the comfort and safety of patients throughout the procedure.

Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is clean and functioning correctly.

Review and analyze images to provide accurate preliminary findings.

Document findings and prepare reports for the radiologist.

Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all safety protocols.

Stay updated with advancements in sonographic technology and techniques.

Provide education and support to patients regarding their procedures.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Key Skills and Qualifications

Degree in Sonography or related field from an accredited institution with 1 - 3 years experience.

Current certification and registration with relevant professional bodies.

Proven experience as a Sonographer.

In-depth knowledge of human anatomy and sonographic principles.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and software.
