We're hiring a Shift Supervisor in Awka, Anambra State. This role involves overseeing production activities and ensuring operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise production activities during assigned shifts.
Monitor and control production processes to maximize efficiency and meet production targets.
Share daily reports with the management team on production metrics, downtimes and performance during his shift.
Facilitate seamless transition between production operations during shift changes
Ensure production output is consistent with quality standards.
Maintain production documentation and oversee equipment operation and maintenance.
Manage and coordinate the work of production workers.
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Ensure adequate staffing and training to support ongoing production.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience leading a manufacturing team.
Attention to detail, critical thinking, and computer literacy.
Proficiency in Excel for generating timely reports.
Effective communication skills and ability to work night shifts.
Excellent crisis management and adaptation skills.
Flexibility to work day or night shifts in a fast-paced environment.
