Senior Accountant (Salary Negotiable)

Job Title: Senior Accountant Type of Employment: Full-Time Employment Location: Primarily Lagos (Ikeja) Key Responsibilities: -Ensure all financial records are timely recorded in SAP and appropriate source documents are sorted and kept. -Manage the company’s Receivables and Payables, and process vendor payments after proper documentation is obtained -Oversee employee payroll management. -Ensure statutory filings and payments (VAT, PAYE, CIT etc.) are made within deadlines. • Undertake month-end closing activities such as bank reconciliations, accruals, depreciation charges, etc. -Ensure timely preparation of financial statements and other periodic reports. • Prepare annual budgets in collaboration with the Finance Manager or the Director of Finance and other Unit/ Departmental Heads. -Perform any other duties as required by the finance manager or the Director of Finance. Qualification: -BSC in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA would be an added advantage) -Full or part qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants Nigeria (ICAN), Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) -Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in accounting and/or finance roles. -Proven track record of strong compliance with statutory regulations. -Proficient use of SAP ERP and MS Excel.
