Job Title: Sales Representative
Reports to: Lead, Business Development and Partnerships
Location: Lagos (with frequent site visits and travels as required)

Job Objective:
To drive revenue growth by identifying, prospecting, and converting new clients (B2B and B2C), promoting CargoExtra’s services, and ensuring excellent customer engagement and satisfaction throughout the sales and service delivery cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Acquisition and Prospecting
• Actively source and prospect new business leads across B2B and B2C segments through digital platforms, in-person meetings, and referrals.
• Maintain a pipeline of potential clients and nurture relationships to generate interest in CargoExtra’s services.
2. Service Promotion and Pitching
• Effectively present and pitch the full range of CargoExtra’s services (Exportation, Importation, Procurement, and Logistics Solutions) to potential clients.
• Tailor sales presentations and proposals to address the specific needs and pain points of each client segment.
3. Lead Conversion and Deal Closure
• Manage client inquiries, prepare quotations, and respond to service-related questions to guide prospects through the sales funnel.
• Close deals and support clients through onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition into active service use
4. Customer Relationship Management
• Follow up with clients to track shipment updates and provide status reports on logistics operations.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
5. Performance Tracking and Reporting
• Document all client interactions, sales leads, activities, and performance metrics using CRM tools, Google Sheets, and daily reporting trackers.
• Provide weekly reports to the Business Development team highlighting progress against sales targets, client status, and pipeline health.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in B2B and/or B2C sales, preferably within logistics, supply chain, or service industries
• Minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
• Familiarity with export/import or logistics services is an added advantage
