Job Position: Parts Driver

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

Transport parts and materials between the dealership or repair center and other locations, including customers, suppliers, and other branches.

Ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts to maintain the efficiency of repair and maintenance services.

Assist with receiving, checking, and organizing incoming parts.

Support the parts department in keeping track of inventory levels and ensuring that the right parts are available when needed.

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the delivery vehicle to ensure it remains in good working condition.

Report any vehicle issues or needed repairs to the appropriate personnel.

Plan and follow the most efficient routes to minimize delivery times and fuel consumption.

Adjust delivery schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in orders or priorities.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signed receipts, invoices, and mileage logs.

Ensure that parts are correctly labeled and handled during transport to prevent damage.

Requirements

A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Ability to safely operate and navigate delivery vehicles, including knowledge of traffic laws and vehicle maintenance.

Strong organizational and time-management skills to complete deliveries within specified deadlines.

Other Requirement:

Ability to prioritize tasks and adjust routes based on changing delivery requirements.

Ability to handle parts carefully and verify that the correct items are delivered or picked up.

Familiarity with GPS systems or delivery tracking software to optimize routes and ensure timely deliveries.

A high school diploma or equivalent is generally required.

Familiarity with basic automotive parts and tools is beneficial.

Some companies may require a commercial driver’s license (CDL) depending on the size and type of delivery vehicle used.

Male Preferably.

Salary

N65,000 - N70,000 Monthly.
