Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer with previous experience in designing, developing, and managing mechanical systems for solar power plants. This includes structural components, cooling and heating systems, and mechanical equipment used in the production of electricity from solar energy.
The individual needs to have a strong understanding of mechanical systems, thermal fluid systems, and solar energy principles also knowledge of photovoltaic systems and solar thermal systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design and Development: Candidate will be responsible for engineering drawings, performing tolerance and environmental analyses, and managing projects from concept to commercialization.
Maintenance and Optimization: Candidate will conduct inspections and ensure that solar energy systems are running at optimal efficiency.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with 2-5 years experience.
Experience: Proven experience in designing and managing mechanical systems for solar energy projects.
Skills:
Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, thermal fluid systems, and solar energy principles.
Personal Traits:
Team Player: Ability to work effectively with a team of engineers and other professionals.
Adaptable: Willingness to stay updated with the latest advancements in solar technology and industry standards.
Detail-Oriented: Ensuring accuracy in design and implementation.
Salary
N220,000 - N250,000 / Month.
