Job Position: Inventory Manager

Job Location: Owerri, Imo

Responsibilities

Develop and implement inventory management strategies to ensure optimal stock levels, minimizing both overstock and stockouts.

Manage and monitor inventory data, ensuring accuracy and reliability of inventory records.

Analyze inventory trends and patterns to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.

Implement and manage inventory control systems, including cycle counting, stock rotation, and inventory tracking.

Work closely with procurement, sales, and operations teams to ensure smooth inventory flow and efficient order fulfillment.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and quality of goods.

Identify and implement opportunities to optimize inventory processes and systems.

Monitor and control inventory costs, including storage, handling, and obsolescence.

Stay abreast of industry best practices and trends in inventory management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field 

Skills:

Proven track record of success in managing inventory levels, controlling costs, and improving efficiency.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in inventory management software and systems.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
