We are looking for a Graphic Designer to lead the visual expression of our brands across Triift Africa, Idea to Funded (ITF), Cirkle Labs, and Akkant BPO. This role focuses on creating compelling visual assets that communicate our programs, products, and impact while maintaining strong brand consistency.
You will translate strategy, campaigns, and ideas into high-quality visual content that drives engagement, builds brand recognition, and supports growth and revenue goals.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign high-quality graphics for social media, websites, presentations, email campaigns, and digital ads.
Create visual assets such as carousels, banners, infographics, posters, pitch decks, and marketing materials.
Develop visual content for product launches, programs, events, and community initiatives.
Produce short-form motion graphics or basic video edits where required.
Ensure all visuals align with brand guidelines including typography, colour palettes, layout styles, and visual tone.
Maintain visual consistency across all ZSE portfolio brands.
Support development and refinement of brand style guides and templates.
Assist in updating branding assets such as media kits, presentations, and corporate documents.
Collaborate with the Marketing and Program teams to design campaign creatives.
Produce visual materials for webinars, events, partnerships, and program promotions.
Design landing page visuals and downloadable resources (guides, reports, toolkits).
Support paid advertising efforts with optimized ad creatives.
Translate briefs, concepts, and brand strategies into engaging visual designs.
Contribute ideas to improve visual storytelling and campaign impact.
Work closely with content, marketing, and community teams to align visuals with messaging and goals.
Adapt designs based on performance insights and stakeholder feedback.
Organize and maintain a structured library of design files and brand assets.
Ensure proper file formats and sizes for different digital platforms.
Prepare final artwork for digital and print use where needed.
Success is defined by:
Strong, recognizable visual identities across all portfolio brands
High-quality, engaging designs that improve campaign performance and audience engagement
Consistent adherence to brand guidelines
Fast, reliable turnaround of creative assets
Visual storytelling that clearly supports program goals and revenue objectives
Degree or training in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Media Arts, or a related field
Prior experience in graphic design, brand design, or visual communications
Strong portfolio demonstrating digital and brand design work
Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and/or Canva
Basic motion design or video editing skills (After Effects, CapCut, Premiere Pro, etc.) is a plus
