Job Summary

We are urgently looking for a compassionate and dedicated Auxiliary Nurse to join our team at a busy chemist shop in Okuokokor, Warri, Delta State.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing basic nursing care to patients, assisting in the day-to-day operations of the chemist shop, and ensuring a safe and clean environment for all customers.

Key Responsibilities

Provide basic nursing care to patients, including wound dressing and administering first aid.

Assist customers with medication inquiries and provide accurate information about over-the-counter drugs.

Support the pharmacist in dispensing medications and managing inventory.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the chemist shop, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Monitor and record vital signs of patients, if necessary.

Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.

Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure efficient shop operations.

Job Qualifications

Minimum of a certificate in Nursing or a related field.

Previous experience as an auxiliary nurse or in a similar role is preferred.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies calmly.

Must be reliable, trustworthy, and have a caring attitude towards patient.

Working Hours:

Shift 1: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm

Shift 2: 3:00 pm to 8:30 pm

Alternate weekends.

Salary

N30,000 monthly.
